Who Is Jody Diaz?

I discovered my love of the arts in the spring of 2020. Yes, COVID did slightly delay my immediate exploration of working in theater; however, it did allow me to learn, observe, and have a general understanding of the text and paperwork aspect of theater.

Before I started working in the arts, I spent my childhood doing a lot of art forms I could. drawing, painting, sculpting, woodworking, playwriting, and a lot more. My parents supported me through my constant change of interests. I learned in high school that I could do all those things in theater. After COVID, I was able to implement all my work at Worcester State University, where I did my Undergrad, where I have been able to learn and grow.

My work is an ongoing exploration of creating diverse worlds to entertain. Anyone can have space to enjoy new experiences. I want to bring new possibilities to all with creativity, wonder, and inspiration through my work.

I’m always looking to learn new concepts, allowing new materials, experiences, and people to guide me. Learning by watching and doing new things has enabled me to have a greater understanding of my role in any business.

Ultimately, I want my art to ignite new ideas and inspire others to put more art and entertainment into our world.
